By far one of the easiest reviews to leave would be this one right here, for Winchester JiuJitsu. Hands down, this has to be the best BJJ academy in the DMV, and further. This place is our home away from home. The people, they are family. GREAT instruction for all ages, but especially the youth! Respect, accountability, discipline, self control and self defense are just a few key components taught at each class. The changes I’ve seen in my children just since joining are immeasurable...

We have been members for a couple years. We have also experienced other gyms in other cities. The Winchester Jiu Jitsu Academy is very family friendly with great kids coaches. They promote fundamental BJJ and encourage kids to compete in local competitions where coaches volunteer their time to help the kids grow.

For adults, the coaches and team of practitioners maintain a positive environment. There is always something new to learn and plenty of physical fitness. Whether you’re looking to get in shape, learn BJJ and become a more skilled fighter, or if you just want to do it for fun, you’ll find a spot at this gym.

I can't say enough great things about Winchester Jiu Jitsu Academy. The staff and instructors are top-notch. I attend classes, and so do both of my sons. The difference in their attitudes, self-control, physical strength, and confidence has increased exponentially since we joined last July. Plus, I'm getting in much better shape! I am looking forward to many more years of BJJ growth with Winchester Jiu Jitsu Academy.

Cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Winchester Jiu Jitsu! My family and I have had the opportunity to work with and train under their excellent coaches and staff for about 4 years now. From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted with professional and friendly faces that welcome you with very positive energy. As an older female, it can be intimidating to walk into a gym/sport that is male dominated, but I have always felt safe and supported by all the coaches at this gym. It's great to see more females joining the gym, which is testament to the safe and welcoming environment here.
