The Academy

History and Mission

In December 2014, Jeff Buettner and Bob Gibson opened the Winchester JiuJitsu Academy – a family focused environment for the greater Winchester area to learn Brazilian JiuJitsu. Since then, the school has continued to evolve by incorporating Muay Thai Kickboxing, NoGi Brazilian JiuJitsu, multiple Brazilian JiuJitsu classes, and an engaging Youth Curriculum so that a variety of martial arts programs are available for all experience levels.

Our mission is to create a martial arts curriculum that challenges our members both mentally and physically. To accomplish this, we work closely with each individual member and customize curriculum to meet each of their unique needs, so that they can reach their peak physical fitness and personal goals. We create a positive and fun learning environment that combines expert instruction with interactive training techniques – no two classes are the same! Your growth and development is our passion.

The Winchester JiuJitsu Academy is an affiliate school of Professor Tony Passos, based out of Ashburn Virginia.
