bob

HEAD INSTRUCTOR

Professor Bob Gibson
Professor Bob began training Brazilian JiuJitsu in 2004 when he discovered he needed to better his conditioning. He quickly became hooked on the sport and began training anywhere from seven to nine times a week.

In 2018, Bob received his Black Belt from Professor Tony Passos, and is a registered Brazilian Jiujitsu Black Belt with the IBJJF. It was at this point that he began teaching Brazilian JiuJitsu. Bob is co-owner of Winchester JiuJitsu, LLC and an Occupational Therapist M.S. OTR/L who specializes in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. His favorite aspect of teaching is helping people, especially children, accomplish their goals. He is married with four children and five dogs.
cj

LEAD INSTRUCTOR

Professor CJ Fitzgerald

CJ began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2008 after becoming fascinated with the sport through watching UFC pay-per-views. That interest quickly turned into a passion after stepping onto the mats for his first classes. After spending several years away at college, CJ returned to Winchester and continued his training, earning his Blue Belt in 2015 and ultimately receiving his Black Belt in 2023. Over the years, he has remained actively involved in teaching and helping students develop strong fundamentals, all while balancing his project management career, photography business, and raising twins with his wonderful wife, Devon.

For CJ, Jiu-Jitsu has always been about much more than belts, competition, or learning techniques. He genuinely loves the process of training—the challenge of improving, the fun of sharing the mats with friends, and the community that develops when people work hard together. Some of his favorite moments come from seeing students gain confidence, overcome challenges, and simply enjoy being part of the team. He believes that while Jiu-Jitsu can be demanding, training should also be something you look forward to: a place to learn, laugh, push yourself, and build friendships that extend well beyond the mats.

randy

INSTRUCTOR

Professor Randy Wallace

For Randy, BJJ has become an important part of balancing a busy professional and family life. With a background in government and IT work, time on the mats offers a welcome change of pace—an opportunity to unplug, stay active, and challenge himself in a completely different way. That commitment ultimately led to earning his Black Belt in 2024. Even better, Jiu-Jitsu has become something he can share with his kids, giving them the chance to train, learn, and grow together as a family.

Jiu-Jitsu has also played a major role in his personal health journey. Through consistent training and a commitment to a healthier lifestyle, he has lost more than 100 pounds, dramatically improving his mobility, fitness, and overall quality of life. For him, BJJ isn’t simply about learning how to grapple—it’s about continuing to move, staying healthy, having fun, and being part of a community that encourages everyone to become a better version of themselves.

bradon

INSTRUCTOR

Professor Bradon Reinhart

Bradon brings more than 20 years of martial arts experience to the mats, with a background that includes amateur MMA, submission wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Throughout that time, he has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience that he enjoys sharing with others. Whether he’s helping someone sharpen a technique, work through a challenge, or simply become more confident on the mats, Bradon takes a lot of pride in helping his teammates grow.

For Bradon, martial arts has also become a family affair. Training alongside his son is one of his greatest joys and a big part of what keeps him passionate about Jiu-Jitsu. Outside the gym, he’s an avid weightlifter and dedicated family man. He especially values the close-knit community at the academy and believes that a welcoming, family-oriented environment is what makes training both rewarding and fun.

INSTURCTOR

Lukas Lease

Lukas Lease first stepped onto the mats after a friend convinced him to give Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu a try. What began as trying something new quickly developed into a genuine love for the sport and the community surrounding it. Along the way, Lukas discovered a particular passion for working with our youth students, helping them build their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of Jiu-Jitsu.

For Lukas, one of the best parts of training is that it’s something his entire family can enjoy together. Whether learning new techniques, helping the next generation of students, or simply spending time together on the mats, Jiu-Jitsu has become an important part of their family life. He especially values the friendships, fun, and sense of community that make the academy a place his family looks forward to being.

jon

ASSISTANT COACH

Jon Young

Jon came to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a strong background in fitness, having spent a number of years training CrossFit before finding his way onto the mats. The physical and mental challenges of Jiu-Jitsu quickly gave him a new outlet to push himself, learn, and improve. Jon loves both the everyday process of training and the opportunity to test his skills in competition.

Family and community are also a huge part of what keeps Jon passionate about Jiu-Jitsu. As a dedicated family man, he values being part of an environment where families can train, spend time together, and build lasting friendships. Whether he’s preparing for a competition, getting in a tough round with teammates, or simply enjoying time at the academy, Jon appreciates the camaraderie and sense of community that make Jiu-Jitsu about much more than what happens on the mats.

liana

ASSISTANT COACH

Liana LaMarine

Liana found a home in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through a love of training, staying active, and continually challenging herself. Her dedication on the mats led to earning her Blue Belt in 2024. Outside the academy, Liana works on a farm, bringing the same hardworking and down-to-earth attitude to her training that she does to everyday life.

Jiu-Jitsu has also become something Liana can share with her family, with both of her children training alongside her at the academy. She especially enjoys the community surrounding the sport—the friendships, encouragement, and shared experiences that come from spending time together on the mats. For Liana, the academy is more than a place to train; it’s a community where her entire family can learn, grow, and have fun together.
